Providing Soccer to youth in Rocky Mountain House

Grassroots Program

Our grassroots programming is offered to participants born in 2021 through 2015 (U5, U7 and U9 age groups).  Players will focus on development of their individual skills in a station-to-station format.  Team managers will lead their team through up to four stations per session coached by stationary coaches.  This fun and supportive environment nurtures players’ individual skill development as they focus on their “Me”.

U11 In-House Competitive League

Our U11 in-House Competitive League is offered to participants born in 2013/2014.  Our U11 in-house teams will compete only in Rocky against other Rocky Knights teams.  One practice and one game per week.

Players may have the option to join a tournament team as well as playing on a house team that will participate in additional practices  tournaments if available. If there are only enough mixed-gender players to register one tournament team, the team will be registered in the boy’s division of tournaments.

*May be additional cost for the tournament team.

Competitive Travel League

Our competitive league is offered to participants born in 2005 through 2014 (U19, U17, U15, U13 and U11 age groups).  Players will hone their individual skills while learning team and strategic play by competing against teams from other towns throughout Central Alberta in CASA’s Tier IV Rural League (U11-U19).

U11 through U19 teams commit to traveling throughout the District (Camrose - Rocky) for game play up to two evenings per week, with additional practice evenings in town, as determined by team staff.  These teams will also compete in three tournaments throughout the District during the season.

Players born in 2013 and 2014 (U11 age group) have the option of committing to a travel team that will compete in CASA’s league play. A U11 travel team will only be registered if numbers permit.  If there are only enough mixed-gender players to register one travel team, it will be registered in the CASA’s boy’s league. If numbers for a travel team do not permit, players have the option to play in the In-house U11 program.

Players in these age groups may also have the opportunity to try-out for a Tier III CASA-wide “Selects” team, which plays in tournaments throughout Alberta through the summer months, concluding with City Provincials in mid-August.  Players interested in this opportunity are encouraged to contact the Competitive League Coordinator for more information.

** Additional costs for summer tournament registration will apply. **
