Season Kickoff!
This week 286 pairs of cleats hit the field as we officially kicked off the 2026 Outdoor Season and the numbers are impressive!
We had 20 grassroots and U9 House league teams take their first kicks of the season on Tuesday!
Our 10 travelling teams between U9 and U15 moved from indoor practices to outdoor, and many of them played their season openers. 8 games were played by Knights teams this week.
Monday saw U13 Boys Crossey and U13 Boys Pearson both secure wins.
Monday also saw U13 vanVelsen take the field as our first U13 girls team in many years!
Tuesday saw U11 Girls Atwater, and U11 Boys Cale both secure wins, while U11 Boys Nordstrom earned a tie in a tough battle.
On Thursday U11 Boys Mackenzie picked up a win in their opener, while U11 Girls Atwater went 2 for 2!
What a great opening week, with lots of excitement and hard work from all of our Knights teams!
We can't wait to see what next week holds as U15 Co-ed Anderson, U9 Boys Atwater and U9 Co-ed Browning get their first games in!
